Meet The Team

God birthed this ministry through the heart of JJ Cox. JJ has been in some sort of ministry his entire life and is in the process of becoming a Bishop in The Church of God. He is passionate about connecting The Gospel to people through both art and music. While he also preaches standard sermons, his hope is that the worship and art that precedes the sermon helps to open the hearts of the people.

Naomi is JJ's wife and also an Ordained Minister in the Church of God. She has a passion for teaching The Gospel using relatable storytelling and illustrations. Naomi's heart beats for helping to awaken those within the church who are, "lost in the pew." She is currently working towards obtaining her Master's in Counseling and hopes to open her own Christian Counseling practice in Bristol, TN.

Corey has been with us the longest, from the very beginning. Now we are blessed to have his bride, Sarah, as an added addition to the ministry. They both have servants hearts and love the Lord. They are also stepping into parenthood now, literally any day now! We look forward to seeing their family grow over the years...and maybe even training some new little helpers as time goes on by lol!

Chris and Lauren have been a joy to have as an addition to the JJ Cox Ministries family. They are both willing to anything to build The Kingdom. In addition to their roles here with us, they have their own ministry called, "A Merry Heart Ministries." Go check them out on Facebook!

16 going on 25, Ms. Hannah is wise beyond her years. She is our eldest daughter and runs our merchandise table. Hannah also enjoys helping with worship and has begun sharing her testimony. She does not know a stranger so be sure to say hello when you see her!

At 14 years old, Ms. Allison is part of our Support Team. She is willing to help out in any aspect. She helps her sister at the merchandise table, loves to sing, assists her daddy with paint set up, etc. Allison is guaranteed to make you laugh so enjoy sharing a conversation with her!

Anyone who has the honor to know Breanna would agree with the fact that she is a breath of fresh air. You will never hear a complaint come out of her mouth. She simply desires to help others. As part of our Support Team, she certainly plays a vital role in our ministry. 

Charlie serves on our Support Team. He helps in any way he can & there have been several times in which he has even let the ministry borrow his personal truck for hauling our trailer. He, his wife Breanna & son Fischer have traveled as far as Kentucky with us & we are blessed by them.

Joseph is part of our Support Team. When Naomi cannot travel with JJ, he fills in and helps wherever needed. This young man has such a servant driven heart. We believe The Lord is going to use him in a mighty way and we are honored to be a part of his life.
